PICK THE RIGHT GYM BAG

Think about the all the possible uses and need before choosing which bag to purchase. Determining whether the bag will fit your lifestyle and your requirements is essential for a happy gym-sesh.

Tips : Size is important. You need a gym bag that is roomy enough to carry all of your gear, but not too big and bulky. Make sure the bag's straps are thick and comfortable, to make carrying it as easy as possible.

USE PACKING CUBES

You could just throw everything in the bag and mix wet socks and dirty underwear with your phone and snacks, but you can using packing cubes to arrange the stuff in the bag. You don't have to go extra and pack everything away in cubes, but dirty clothes and food should definitely be separated. In order to keep the remainder of the bag as dry as possible, you can also put your wet towel in a waterproof bag.

BRING QUICK DRYING TOWEL

Travel towels make great gym towels, too, since they are designed to be carried around and to dry quickly. Microfiber towels are more compact and wipe away sweat from your skin rather than soaking it up.

One thing to remember for sure: don't walk around the changing room naked, keep your private parts – well – private. :p

BRING WATER BOTTLE

It's important to take enough protein, but it's also essential to drink a lot of water before to, during, and after the workout. Water is necessary for the well-being of your muscles and body, and while any good gym should have at least one water fountain, they are typically located on the opposite side of the facility.

 

SEPARATE YOUR GADGET

Not only it is easier to locate them if they are kept separately, you can also protect gadgets from moisture, for example, by placing them in different pouch or case.

LAST, ALWAYS UNPACK!

The most important piece of advise we can give you is to unpack your bag as soon as you get home and put it in the washing machine. The best way to keep your workout clothes fresh for longer is to regularly take them from your backpack and air them out. Wet towels and soiled clothing not only cause the bag to smell bad, but they can also create stains on the fabric that can later encourage the growth of mold.
